TypeKey translates the text you're writing into English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese or Italian, right inside the chat or email you're in.

Translations read naturally for everyday messages. For contracts or medical texts, use a professional translator.

TypeKey sends the text in the field you're typing in to our server only when you tap an action, encrypted, to create your result. AI actions need Full Access for the keyboard. iOS asks for it once, when you turn the keyboard on.

Does it work in WhatsApp?

Yes, in WhatsApp and any other app that uses the iPhone keyboard.

Can it translate messages I receive?

TypeKey works on what you type. To translate a message you received, paste it into a text field and tap Translate.

What happens to my text?

TypeKey sends the text in your field to our server only when you tap an action. Our server passes it to our AI service provider to write the result. We don't store the text on our server.
